School projects

Welcome to our section on school projects provided by teachers and educators, based on the material in Sun|trek. You can find projects suitable for different ages and abilities (UK KS2, KS3, KS4), some indoor and some outdoor activities. There are also some lesson starters. Curriculum links are suggested in each project.

If you use or know of other relevant astronomy projects, please let the Sun|trek team know so they can be included in the next release.

Detailed curriculum links are given in this excel spreadsheet (PDF) by Miriam Chaplin.

Mike Cripps 1959-2011

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the sudden and untimely death of Mike Cripps. He was an inspirational teacher and a passionate amateur astronomer. He worked with us on Sun|trek and contributed many of the educational resources.
